Also add what you already tried so far.

I have tried Alt+Enter of course, My game resolution is set to 1920x1080 to fullscreen mode. Every time I hit Alt+Enter it starts to switch to fullscreen then goes back to windowed mode. When I run GTA V singe player, I am fullscreen, however when I load FiveM it is windowed at a very small screen. I have also tried editing the settings.xml file by changing the windowed value to 2. When I hit alt+enter it resets to 1 I believe.

I’m out of options, I have no clue why this is happening.

Hm play around in all the settings before posting, if it won’t go in normal gta play around, if it dosen’t help let me know and i will try to help u more when it’s detailed!

Pretty sure FiveM doesn’t support being ran on Fullscreen. Not that it matters since borderless windowed is way better, but eh.

I’ve played around with all the settings! Even windowed borderless doesn’t go full screen, I’m playing the game on a small windowed screen

What resolution do you play on? Is it your native monitor resolution?

My monitor resolution is 4k, but the game is on 1920x1080. Every other steam game I play is 1080 and they run fullscreen. When I put FiveM on 4k, it still doesnt go fullscreen

Try running a 1080p game on windowed mode and see if it looks the same.

I’ll do that but I’m not sure how that will help.

That is mostly to see if your problem for a small window is the fact you’re not running in native resolution.

FiveM does support full screen like the base game does, also sometimes you need to press out of the game, click into it and then press alt and enter. Usually works for me.

Anyway, full screen means the whole of your monitor so it isn’t full screen if it’s in 1920x1080 is it? Try getting it into full screen and then forcing it to close before it reverts back.

If that doesn’t work, try deleting citizen/common/

Ok I just went ahead and started running in 4k on lower settings, seems to be the only fix. Thanks guys!!
