I tried deleting content_index.xml and it did not work. It fixed it for about 5 minutes, but then my PC shut off again. Hard cut to lights off, no warning at all.
If your system just turns off instantly, it’s likely your PSU’s overcurrent protection being triggered. Not a software problem at all, any heavy enough workload would probably cause that.
