I’ve spent 3 days studying all the possible causes, what I’ve tried so far is I’ve attempted to forcibly switch graphics, both dedicated and integrated, I’ve lowered graphics tot he absolute minimum, I’ve added commandlines and multiple combinations, I have renistalled both GTA V and FiveM itself, I have verified and repaired GTA V via the GTAV_Setup_tool.exe provided by Rockstar Games, I have completed both story missions to start with (~1% complete) and online missions, I have updated, removed, downgraded graphic drivers, I’ve set different priorities and affinities, I’ve disabled both integrated and dedicated GPU’s via the BIOS, I’m running out of options and I bought GTA V purely for FiveM, All help will be deeply appreciated, thank you all for your time

I WILL PROVIDE SCREENSHOTS AND FILES SHORTLY IF POSSIBLE BY EDIT, DIRECTORIES ARE AS CLEAN AS THEY CAN POSSIBLY BE

There’s an issue with AMD mobile graphics/driver and FiveM. Unfortunately there’s no fix

I should’ve mentioned the driver versions, I’m highly sure that there aren’t mobile drivers since it’s a dedicated GPU, I believe it’s running AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition 18.9.1, and as harsh as this sound, using the 18.12.1 version causes a blue screen and there’s no fix for that yet

Edit: comes to my attention that I have no idea what I am talking about, I just woke up at the time sorry about that, but I seriously hope this can be resolved soon or something like that, I know it takes time and all but this is a big issue, thank you for your help though, I’ll keep this open if anyone can help each other out though if they’re suffering a similar problem

Edit2: I just wanted to update my situation again to ask another question. I tested FiveM on a different laptop using the same driver and driver version, but with an AMD R5 M430 2GB Dedicated graphics card and it runs perfectly with no other issue. Is there anything else anyone can come up with?

Unfortunately there isn’t because as you can see, this behavior is random. It’s more prominent in mobile AMD graphics which makes this even weirder. There has been no way to reproduce this and the elements also have no way of debugging because they don’t have an AMD setup at hand. This is all a hit or miss. FiveM should force the gpu to be used but there still seems to be an issue.

So yea, hit or miss. Nothing I can advise you after this. What you can still do is connect to a server with connect ip:port in the F8 console but you won’t have NUI then (which is fine for some but not for most servers)

I’ll givd this a try, thank you so much, I’ll be more than happy to use a console to connect to a server, thank you so much

Edit: Yes! Thank you so much, it works and I was able to connect to a server, all worked well, thank you!
