Do you recall which files you messed with that broke things?
Not sure if this will help, but go into your FiveM Application Data folder and then into data and delete the server-cache-priv folder. If you don’t know where the FiveM Application Data folder is, here’s how you can find it.
If that doesn’t help, then try verifying your game files for GTA:V in Steam.
Again, we can give a lot more specific instructions on what to try if we know what files you were messing with. Also, attaching the log files may help as well, even if you didn’t crash.

If you still can’t connect, does this only happen on Sweet Life or have you tried multiple servers? Have you tried connecting to the official test server? If you’ve reinstalled FiveM and GTA then it might be a server issue. Have you tried contacting other players or the server staff/devs to see if anyone else is having the same problem?
