Bought, how do I boot my favorite server? it is not appearing on the FiveM list, can you add by ip?

Only public servers that appear on the fivem serverlist are visible. Ones that are hidden from the serverlist are currently not supported. There might be a way to add private servers (in the future) to a list but that’s not yet implemented.

Since when is advertising okay on FiveM release section? I thought advertising or selling products was against FiveM Terms of Service? Am I wrong?

Nothing is wrong here, if Tom was making a profit from this, which by the way, he isn’t. He would be breaking the Service Agreement. Apple’s developer license sums up to something like €99.99/yr, and Tom is not making anywhere near 100 sales of this app.

This is clearly directed towards a specific audience which you do not fall under, so simply don’t interact with the topic. Tom is a moderator for this forum and there is no way he would ‘get away with breaking the Service Agreement’ just because of this.

If you believe there is an issue with a topic, flag it instead of making replies on the topic itself.

That is a lie. Please dont lie to us. Since the App store link was posted 1.1k people clicked the link. If that is the case, it means charging 1,100 people a 1.99 which means he is making $2189.00 off this so far. I have a hard time believing only less than 100 people bought this app with this many clicks. Even say he only got 100 people to buy this. Then that means he is making 199 dollars. I get it it costs money, but what does it do with the extra money he gets from it? Does he give it to fivem? Does he have to report it to fivem? or does he pocket it?

So you are telling me that if I state I have an App for FiveM that I want players to use that I can charge them a 1.99 to cover the yearly price? or how about me charging merchandise and advertising it on her so I can pay the 50 dollar monthly fee for my server I have to pay you guys? See how this is becoming an issue? How come only certain people get to charge people for certain services be anyone else who is not within FiveM’s Elites have to pay out of our own pocket?

If we ended up trying to do what he just did, our post would be taken down and we would be kicked from the forums. Now whatever your response is will probably defend him, but I do not think it is right that FiveM has separate standards for different people because of who they know? I dont like the deep state mentality FiveM is creating here. All I want is a fair community for everyone regardless of your title? Is that too hard to ask?

I’ll share the App Store analytics for this app when I get home. I’ll also include the exact amount Apple charged me, and the cut that they take on every sale. You also probably don’t realize that this used to be a free app for about 1 year. After which I completely rewrote it from scratch, introducing the small fee. Which means the 2k or whatever the amount is currently, is accumulated over a very long period. Not even 50% of clicks end up downloading the app anyway. Clicks mean absolutely nothing.

Alright, as promised, here are the numbers.

All of these are lifetime stats, from the moment I first joined the Apple Developer program, starting the €99,- yearly fee, until today (20th of June 2019).

Total App units (amount of downloads per account/family share): 1.42K
Total Sales (in USD, note this is what people paid for the App): $274.-
Total Proceeds (in USD, the amount that Apple owes me, taxes and all that still need to be deducted): $173.-
What I’ve actually received from Apple on my bank account so far (after all taxes, Apple’s cut and other stuff was deducted, this is slightly delayed because Apple holds payments a number of months): $70.50

Total costs for the Apple Developer Program so far (2 years, will be 3 years in 2 months): €198.- (roughly $223.37 (USD)).

So, to conclude:
I paid: $223.37
I got: $70.50 (should be getting $173.- eventually if nobody buys anything from now on and nobody requests a refund).

By the time I end up actually getting the $173.- on my bank account, it’ll be past 3 years adding another €99.- ($111,69 (USD)) to my total expenses.

We’ll forget about the fact that I’ve also had to buy a MacBook, since one could argue I also use that for other stuff, even if I don’t, we’ll just not count that in the expenses.

Which still leaves me (today) at a grand total of $-152.87 in profits, aka $152.87 out of my pocket. ($70.50 - $223.37 = $-152.87)

Maybe read the description of an App before purchasing… Just request a refund from Apple if this is the case.

holy shit it’s an update

Hi everyone, surprise, the App has received an update!

It’s completely redesigned from scratch.
Now supports any server to be added. Both FiveM and RedM servers are supported.
Way faster than before, no more 30 second loading times.
Supports iOS dark mode.
Bugfixes.
Optimized for iOS 13.4
More changes can be found on the AppStore page.

Oh and one more thing:

I’m thinking of adding RCON support, let me know what you think of this and I might add it in a future version.
