Hi HappySV,
If you start GTA V normally does it start up and work correctly. If it does then try reinstalling FiveM after fully starting up GTA V, make sure you click on the fivem by the application data as that is the one to start the game. If it brings up the same popup that says to validte GTA just put in your social club account details and everything should be ok.
Just saying though some severs verify weather you are using steam to play or not and will not allow you in if you dont have it on steam this is becasue it is easier to ban people from servers if they do the wrong thing, I dont know if you will be let in to them, you probably will but just letting you know.
Thanks for your reply, I try your solution, I run gta5 normally but not fiveM in sight. I have already re-install FiveM as well as GTA5 several times so I see no or it can come! Sorry about my English but I am french!
I tried to launch GTA5 without launching FiveM too but nothing … it did not work!
What happens if you put you social club account details in that box that pops up, does it work?
Not anything, the page closes and nothing happens.
In a CitizenFX file I have this, I do not know if this will help you:
[ 0] Initialized system mapping!
[ 110] CitizenFX Steam child starting - command line: “D:\Rockstar Games\GTA 5 FiveM\FiveM.exe”
[ 125] hello from “D:\Rockstar Games\GTA 5 FiveM\FiveM.exe”
[ 235] Got ros:legit process - pid 4864
[ 297] Initialized system mapping!
[ 406] hello from “D:\Rockstar Games\GTA 5 FiveM\FiveM.app\cache\subprocess\FiveM_ROSLauncher” ros:legit --parent_pid=456 “D:\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\GTAVLauncher.exe”
[ 10203] EndpointMapper::HandleRequest: POST /ros/login
when starting GTA V normally does this come up? and if so does it do the same thing
When I launch gta5 normally the basic games this launches with the online of gta5 but not FiveM, I also try to launch the games and then launch fiveM but nothing happens.
what the citizenfx is saying is that it is valid but something has gone wrong further down the code. Try reinstalling FiveM if it still does the same thing, go to a moderator or admin that know the code, you can find the in the about bit on this page
I deleted FiveM and I re-install it I keep you aware of file citizenfx
I reinstall and still the same problem …

hmmm maybe a dll got blocked by Windows making it do this ? its on your D drive maybe something with the hdd sectors i would start with unblocking all dlls in the folder
click the Unblock if any of them are locked
yh maybe try that but that is a lot of files to go through to try and unblock them
Hi, I have exactly the same problem.

Problem with my GTA account, contact admin in the discord.
I have exactly the same problem. UP, I hope there is a solution
Problem solved after new patch. Thanks you
Replying here because I can’t figure out how the heck to start a new thread.
Having the same problem. Basically I enter my Social Club e-mail and password and when the window closes nothing happens except a bunch of FiveM processes just idle as can be seen in the task manager.
Here’s my log: https://pastebin.com/cwVktrY5
Same thing happened when I tried FiveM about a year ago. I’ve never been able to get it to work.
Drift_91,
Then its something wrong with your gta/social club account contact an admin or moderator to help you
After reinstalling Windows it suddenly started working when I tried it out a week or two ago. Now the problem I have is that 85% of the time that I launch the game/mod it gets to the “It WILL be worth the wait” screen and then nothing comes up and the processes just idle in the background like before. Not sure if it has something to do with the fact I’m on Windows 7.
@Drift_91 Support for Windows 7 was dropped and it is recommended that you update to at least Windows 8.1; though for best performance, Windows 10.
Not sure if that’s whats causing your issues though.
