FiveM is trying to use a rockstar account that I don't own

What is the issue you’re having?

When launching FiveM it brings up the Rockstar Games Launcher window and says I need to verify my email but the email it not mine, I have never seen this email before and I have never signed into another Rockstar account on my computer. If I launch the Rockstar Games Launcher manually I am signed into my own account and can play gta online or story mode but the moment I try to do FIveM it shows this email I’ve never seen before

What have you tried already to fix the issue?

Reinstalling FiveM
Reinstalling Rockstar Games Launcher
Delete Digital Entitlements
Launch FiveM while GTA V is running

What server did you get this issue on?

No server I can’t even open the client

Hello, if you’re having this problem, I was able to fix it in my case. This is for those who have the game downloaded on Epic Games and also have a Steam account.

If you are experiencing this issue, follow these steps:

  • Completely close FiveM
  • Open the FiveM Application Data folder
  • Open the folder called data
  • Delete the cache and server-cache folders
  • Once you’ve deleted them, close the launcher that you are NOT using for GTA V. (Example: If I have GTA V downloaded on Epic Games, then close Steam.)
  • Open FiveM again and log in using the launcher where GTA V is installed.

I hope this works for some of you and helps out

Sadly that didn’t work for me. I have the game downloaded through steam , its still sending rockstar verification codes to my old hacked account. (ex. hwgyngn0zz@uhqaccounts.xyz) kept steam open too and made sure all others were closed.
