Start by removing your mods

The Thing is, I had so much shit installed and after LSPDFR failed me I wasnt sure what quite belongs there and what doesnt so I kept it

Also that error can probably be fixed by disabling antivirus and removing caches.xml from fivem folder

There is no Caches.xml?

I have the same problem, according to my friends, files are missing from me. I have already deleted caches have antivirus disabled but nothing happens. What could that be?

Same issue here.

Fresh GTAV install, fresh FiveM install
Antivirus disabled, firewall disabled, sfc scan done, .net repair tool used. nothin helped.

Caches.xml disappears right after the the error shows up:

  1. Start FiveM
  2. Update starts
  3. ile caches.xml is being create
  4. On finish update instead of launching game it throws error and caches.xml disappears.

edit: citizen log is exactly the same, but I have steam version of gta v

I am currently redownloading gta so I can get rid of all the old mods I cant figure out. I hope it’ll work then.

I had same issue, solution was removal of these files (debugger pointed out a link to system32 instead of the FiveM’s folder):
C:\Windows\system32\

  • v8.dll
  • v8_libbase.dll
  • v8_libplatform.dll

… how did those end up in system32 in the first place for so many people? :open_mouth:

@thorium.90

I don’t think it’s FiveM related. The only thing is, FiveM (and every other app) picks system32 libraries first. Probably different framework (I had few like Rage etc.)

perhaps someone else who has this issue can check the date on the dlls and correlate when they were put there with software they’ve installed?

How can I look up the date?

And i don’t have Mods!!?
