FiveM doesn't run

When I try to run FiveM it doesn’t actually run and when Steam is closed and I run it the FiveM Game Ownership Verification pops up. When I try to login nothing happens after that and it will pop up again when I try to run FiveM. When steam is closed that is the only time anything will happen when I try to run FiveM.

When you get the Social Club login screen, it does say: “If you are using Steam and own the game on Steam, make sure to start Steam...

Not sure why the screen pops up though, if you’ve already logged in?

That screen only pops up if Steam isn’t running and if it’s not then nothing happens it will just load for a second.

Oh, so if you have Steam running, you are able to play? Or it loads then goes away? Let me look through your log

EDIT: Try maunally disabling Nvidia ShadowPlay and then run FiveM with Steam running.

No, when steam is running and I run FiveM it loads, then goes away.

^ give it a try

I just tried that. I uninstalled GeForce Experience completely and the log looked the same just without the NVIDIA stuff.

Thread Update:

After further troubleshooting on Discord, still aren’t able to figure out what the issue is. What we went through:

  1. Disabled/Uninstalled NVSP
  2. GTAV runs without errors/issues
  3. Updated Windows to Fall Creators Update v16299
  4. Drivers are up-to-date
  5. Clean install of GTAV and FiveM (with the exception of a plugins folder in FiveM)
  6. No errors in the log (Updated log: robin.log (1.8 KB))
  7. Deleted FiveM cache
  8. Added FiveM exceptions/disabled firewall and antivirus
