FiveM Dashcam

would you consider adding the speed of the vehicle in front to the nui?

Just checking before I screw up. The update from chat command to keybind was just a preference thing, correct?

I don’t want to customize this back to a chat command only to discover there was an issue with it.

Just wanting to know the logic behind the switch.

Explain (20 characters)

It was a prefererence. That chat command worked fine. You should be ok converting it back.

here’s my attempt at an explanation in the best away i know how,
visual imagery http://prntscr.com/jqrcra , threw another sneaky free one in there for you

The image doesn’t want to load. No matter how many times I refresh it…

sorry and get vehicle speed speed lol

I wanted to keep the UI simple because police dashcams are simple.

yeah no probs was just an idea XD

Yeah. I like having more info on the screen but the only issue is I already had to move the left text down due to the chat box and the more stuff I add I feel I would start getting messages (Your resource covers text on my screen. How to fix?) Which I am honestly waiting for someone to ask me to fix it for ESX / VRP because of their money UI…

if there that bothered they can get a togglechat script and trigger the function on EnableDash and again on DisableDash i hoped that that there would be a HideHudComponentThisFrame int for the chat box but would seem there is not or atleast i don’t know it

There isn’t because the chat resource is NUI.

that explains that then i might try the coords at the top of the screen shouldn’t be too hard

Shouldn’t be bad if you know how to add things using VueJS.

not a clue but i’ll see what i can do i don’t like to be defeated

I don’t like it either. But I have noticed sometimes I have to just accept it and attack it from another position XD

I thought i’d keep you up to date with my progress because why wouldn’t you care, i conceded to VueJS because i’m dumb and couldn’t get it work but i did manage to do it with drawtext

but the real reason i posted was i presume you know that C conflicts with look backwards just thought i’d say i found a good solution in… if IsControlPressed(1, 60) and IsControlJustPressed(1, 26)
just letting you know if its helpful.

Cool.

I know that C conflicts with the camera. I can easily add a modifier (key hold) I just probably won’t be doing much more with this as it was more of a ā€œfun scriptā€ just like the shield I released.

lol i attempted to change it to a keybind with this build

and it kicked me saying Thanks For Playing. See you soon.

I already made it into a keybind?
