I do not have an antivirus that interferes
The FiveM Client freezes within 5 seconds then crashes
Reinstalled FiveM and GTAV
Moved FiveM to the same folder as GTAV
Cleared FiveM Caches
Updated Windows → Drivers were up to date already
I turned all “high” graphics settings to “normal” restarted and then the issue started.

Im considering something corrupted somewhere i dont know, before changing the settings i got stuck outside the map in a kill zone where even the admins in godmode died. they had to freeze me in the air to get me out.

UPDATE: FiveM will open and run fine with only discord running but once steam is open it just crashes, and i need both at once to authenticate the server.
There’s your issue. Downgrade to NVIDIA 471 drivers. Somehow NVIDIA broke something in 472 and now a lot of people are having issues (especially if also having some overlays loaded, such as Steam’s ‘Game Overlay Renderer’), and this issue doesn’t replicate on any system we control so we can’t perform an immediate fix.
