Did you try to disable/uninstall your Anti-virus?
Created exception and also disabled AVG

Also add what you already tried so far.
Installed FiveM, logged into server and almost completed all the files to log in and create character, game crashed, folder and files missing from install directory, even the fivem.exe setup is gone. I went to redownload the file and it now says “failed-insufficient permissions”. The first go around was fine. Any ideas?

Also uninstall AVG. Adding to exception won’t help .
