What is the issue you’re having? Playing the game fills up my SSD Drive up to a point where nothing is left. Deinstalling FiveM for the first time freed around 50GB.

What are you trying to do?

What have you tried already to fix the issue? Reinstalled FiveM multiple times.

Error screenshot (if any):

What did you do to get this issue? No idea, i just followed installation instructions as normal and went on playing. After some time i realised that it takes up alot of storage.

What server did you get this issue on? Be specific and name some, ‘all of them’ by itself isn’t useful! 90% of my time playing FiveM was on a Server called “FastLife”. The Issue still happend after i switched to a new server called “EdgeLife”.

Servers have custom assets that you download when playing on servers. Especially roleplay servers really like to have custom vehicles and maps/buildings so they want you to do download a lot of things. Bad in my opinion, so avoid any and ESX servers and such.

You can remove the server-cache-priv folder or so under data/ to remove these saved server files every once in a while. You don’t need to reinstall all of FiveM.

Thank you for your reply. I understand that joining some servers require me to download custom assets such vehicles etc. But i exclusevly played on those 2 Servers. Never joined other servers once. Is it possible to download the same assets multiple times? Otherwise i can’t see joining the same servers fill up my drive.

Assets are downloaded from every server.

Is there a way to change the location of where it saves the cache? I’ve reinstalled FiveM on my D: drive, but for some reason it saves the temp cache on my C drive, filling it up with relative ease.
