Cannot get screenshot since it locks everything with blackscreen and forces me to shutdown pc
System specifications
AMD RX 480 8gb card, AMD FX 8350 4.0hgz cpu, 24 gig Mushkin RAM and 2tb 7200rpm hdd
What did you do to get this issue?
Installed the mod and tried to play
What server did you get this issue on?

None of that is there for this crash
If an issue with starting:
yes it is an issue with start, I start fivem using the normal exe like I have done a thousand times, it pops up the normal gta launcher window then the fivem little launcher window where it says loading and it will be worth the wait pops up and as it goes fullscrean and about to go in game it blackscreens on startup and completely locks my pc to point where I need to shut it down completely

Did you try to disable/uninstall your Anti-virus?
Yes, I use Malware bytes and Avira Anti Virus, I tried making an exception for fivem.exe and disabling them

Also add what you already tried so far.
1: checked my Windows Firewall

2: Deleted Cache.xml and my entire cache folder besides game
3: Delete gta and reinstalled 7 times
4: Deleted FiveM on every file I could find and reinstalled 9 times
5: Tried hitting Alt+Enter on launch a bunch
6: Restarted computer 52 times
7: Updated my Drivers to 3 different versions
8: Tried hitting ctrl+alt+end tried ctrl+alt+del tried alt+f4 tried alt+enter and tried alt+tab
9: Tried changing from fullscreen to windowed mode in normal gta
10: Tried playing normal gta and gta online, both work fine.

Do you have anything like fraps, discord overlay, overwolf overlay or any other type of screen overlay installed? if so try disabling that. If you don’t have any of that then I’m not sure what’s wrong.

No overlays at all, I use ts and discord but never enabled there overlays

maybe try downgrading a (couple) version(s)? Especially the video card drivers.

I tried 3 different driver but nothin, I spent the last 4 days trying to fix I jsut wanna play :frowning:

After all the reinstalls I never ran the normal gta I went strait to fivem should i go on normal gta and let do the first time setups n stuff?

That’s recommended but I’m not sure if it’s required. It’s a good idea to see if GTA V even runs normally though so check that.

Yeah it runs already been on Normal gta and multiplayer gta

Could it be steam overlay?

Could be, try disabling it and see if it works. any type of overlay can cause issues.

I shut down discord and Steam, delete all cache as well and ran the first time setup of gta

Nope I don’t. You re-installed GTA and FiveM right? Then everything should be fine…

Yeah like 8 times each bro, well it must be something else on my pc interfering with fivem somehow, what are the known programs that make fivem freeze?

That’s the most common one… don’t know of any others on top of my head.
