A recent Steam Client Beta update appears to be causing a new wave of Early-Exit Trap errors for RedM users. If RedM suddenly began crashing, failing to launch, or showing an Early-Exit Trap error, disabling Steam Client Beta Participation has resolved the issue for many users.
There is currently a change to the Steam Overlay on the Steam Beta branch that is triggering Early-Exit Trap errors.
Recommended fix:
Open Steam → Settings → Interface.
Set Client Beta Participation to No beta chosen.
Restart Steam and launch RedM again.
