I know its early in the morning and also its a late post to this. I just wanted to say this because it haven’t been getting a lot of attention like it needed. Recently a Christopher Illinois Firefighter has lost his life. Shield #237 Kody M. Vanfossan was a 3rd generation firefighter with the Christopher Fire Department. He started off at Christopher when he was 16. Moved to another and came back. He was a great father, son, grandson and a very respected member of the community. He just had a child who is currently 7 months old. He loved what he did and he continued to do it, until one faithful morning he responded to a six alarm two story structure fire in Christopher Illinois where he lost his life fighting the fire upstairs. He will always be remembered. I understand this is mostly used for roleplay purposes. Stuff like this doesn’t happen every day. Even when it hits someone close to home. I always take this stuff seriously coming to these situations. In real life and in game. I am currently apart of a fire department right now in Illinois. I didn’t know him well. But I met him multiple times and my some family worked with him. So the time that you have right now with any family members or friends that are First Responders. Cherish it, it ain’t going to last for ever. Rest in Peace Kody Vanfossan.
