Fake Players

When you do you have in plan to solve the problem with the fake players? it is starting to be very outrageous to be honest, it is raported over one year, the sellers are start to making advertise with them fake players websites, a lot of people are buying from them and nobody say anything about it for over a year already.

I have a list full with clients from Romania from them and they are using without any problem for some time.

Hundreds of servers got banned for using fake players not even 3 weeks ago.

And yet they are still doing it.

Must fix the problem with fake players

I think there should be a clear announcement about this; as a developer, it’s discouraging to see that you have to deal with things other than developing your community.

Maybe this is a way to indirectly encourage people to use these services?

I don’t know but if that’s the case, the best option would be give up fivem.

It’s sad to think that, not so long ago, the support was different from what it is today.

btw fivem dot team

The support is pretty much the same as it was before. Not sure what world you lived in where it was quicker or more enforced before the acquisition?

And they are discouraged because servers were removed for using fake players. Just like they are for other TOS violations. There’s no magic enforcement button. Every game has similar issues and similar efforts to play the cat and mouse game.

Make a unique good server will always be the best way to attract players and keep them. The 30,001 RP server with the same purchased assets isn’t going to matter regardless if you have upvotes or fake players. They aren’t making money.

Support is pretty bad, but there’s no way you can say support was worse than before lmao

Maybe it’s just my impression from looking at old threads, but the development team (especially the NTA) used to always respond. But I don’t know, maybe I’m wrong.

I think there are ways to show that this issue isn’t being ignored, like:

Do we have access to a list of banned servers and/or those that have violated the Terms of Service?

When we report a server, do we get a response from a person or just a standard reply?

That would be a way to demonstrate transparency and avoid the impression that nothing is being done, because the excuse that it’s just a game of cat and mouse doesn’t seem satisfactory.

It’s as if the problem exists, but no one wants to talk about (or care about) it.

Do you work for Cfx? If not, then no. You aren’t entitled to a list of servers that were removed.

Unless you are the owner of the server in question, you do not get access to information about what type of enforcement is being done to that server. That’s not for Cfx to decide who else gets to know beside the server.

They are doing stuff about it as has been said numerous times. They did take action against tons of servers a few weeks ago. People did complain about, something was done. Servers will do it again, they will have action taken against them again. Such is the circle of life.

I don’t know how that isn’t satisfactory that since the beginning of time, people have tried to evade the rules.

I wouldn’t need to work at Cfx to know that, it doesn’t even make sense. It’s just a way to show that something is being done and discourage others from doing the same.

Basically, all you can do is report the server and trust that they’ll take action. The person who submits the report doesn’t even receive any kind of human response (I don’t know if that’s actually the case, but that’s certainly how it feels).

I don’t know if you realized, but that’s not transparency, thats why people still complain about this.

What’s happening today is a lack of perception that something is being done (if anything is actually being done, we can’t even verify it).

It’s different when something is actually done and you can verify that it really happened (for instance, public list of banned servers)

But that’s not something that’s going to change anytime soon, since:

so, whatever ¯_(ツ)_/¯

They don’t because it’s not your right to know what happens to a server you don’t own.

you keep

Saying there’s no way to see if something is being done because there is a public shame wall is disingenuous. If you active, even a little bit you’d notice that servers are removed all the time. Spend some time in the discord and it’ll be obvious whenever there are roll outs and all the server owners come complaining.

not sure what the last part has to do with this other than to distract.

This in the UK scene specifically I find is a large issue - the botting scene here has made the uk market inflate by over 500% - it leaves legitimate servers for dust - i have also made a post about this in the past - if there was one thing i wish cfx would focus on it would be this

that and servers ran by discriminators and racists,

This is not new, it has been known from the past that they have been used especially in Romania for over 2 years, but maybe it is slowly returning to normal.
