Did you try to delete caches.xml (not cache/!) and try again? yes (although there weren’t any)

Did you try to disable/uninstall your Anti-virus?

What is the issue you’re having?
I can access servers but then it crashes on me. this can be anywhere from 5 secs to 10mins while on the server. This is happening on all servers.

What are you trying to do?
I simple am starting a new character on each server but cant get further than that.

What have you tried already to fix the issue?
Reinstalled several times FiveM and GTA V
Added FiveM and GTA V to the exceptions of the Bitdefender AV
Removed the Cache (Not Cache folder)
I have also verified the GTA V game files with no issues
checked update on all files but no updates were needed

What did you do to get this issue?
I was creating a character on all servers. On one server i could actually play for 10 mins but then got the error

Ihave never been able to play with FiveM and have been trying for the last 2 weeks.

I have made sure that Steam, rockstar and Discord are all open before I start FiveM.

This is gonna sound stupid but something similar happened to me I just deleted and reinstalled fivem.

thanks mate but i have tried this 3 times for fivem. also can i check something. when i download it and run the install it keeps it in the downloads folder and i have to physically move it to appdata/local

is this right? thats why i tried to download it several times to see why it left it on downloads

It will install where ever the FiveM.exe is placed it wont always go into your appdata/local because windows is awesome on how it controls permissions for its directories.

thanks for the clarification. so does anyone know what this error means? I am no developer so don’t even know where to start.
