If you are still looking I would recommend checking out ECRP. We are a Whitelisted Semi-serious RP server. We are a hybrid of Vmenu and Eco, we prioritize RP over rules, so if you want to do something that will break a small rule or a rule that’s not that major we wont mind as long as it brings good RP!

I ran servers for years. I started looking in the last year and a half roughly. What I found is that servers that put “Serious RP” in the title are full of it. I go in and fill out this stupid whitelist application, then get set up to play. Then I head over to apply for LEO and fill out there application. Mind you I need to ramble on about 250 words on why I want to join SASP or some shit. It’s a game, What more do they need a DNA sample?

So, I complete that. Go to training and it’s a mess. One training was all about 10 codes, and that was it. I do not like the FIveM standard that is around. I will not pull a taser out on a code 5 stop, It’s stupid. I wont use twenty 10 codes to respond to calls, It sounds like a quarterback starting lineup…

I want realism to a point, I understand game mechanics and people want to have fun like crims. I don’t need that W every time. But I want something realistic. I am tried of seeing 5 unmarked cars rolling around. 5 Captains, 10 lieutenants and 2 cadets in departments. Or, 3 mustang police cars flying everywhere. The damn police departments on these servers I look at, look more like damn gangs.

Interesting take, I’d recommend my server (obviously) but it’s probably too small/maybe not your type of RP.

Good to get the perspective of people who have been through both sides of it though!

every server do be shit in one way or another hence why i honestly stop playing fivem for a few months or a year and then come back to find a great server only to go shit because the devs arent actually any devs and instead spend thousands of dollars on scripts
