After some time trying around with all the esx_taximeter scripts I couldn’t get one single to run as is neither with the changes users noted one should make in the forums, I did all of them.
I scratched some of the code and made it work on my esx/es version which are some of the newest. Just setup my server. Also removed some unnecessary stuff and made it more direct.

Hotkey
If you want to change the key setting open client/main.lua and search for 170. Replace it with one of those controls : https://docs.fivem.net/game-references/controls/

Jobs
With my version its limited to the taxi job, you can add another if line if you want more jobs, I can do some examples later. I might go back to getting it from the config but this was more functional for now.

Config
I left in some config options, should be self explanatory. You can still change mi to km and the restricted vehicle classes etc.

Else just download:
esx_taximeter.rar (16.2 KB)

Install:

  1. put the esx_taximeter folder somewhere in your ressource folder
  2. add “start esx_taximeter” without “” to your server.cfg
  3. profit

Use Set Rate to calculate the distance fee.

what to do when the meter does not sync both players, each player gives a different value.

I am using the custom UI version on my server and is consuming a lot would you have forecast to improve performance?

¡Hello guys!

I’m customiced this hud and now i need put input it F6 job menu to open it.

The problem is that i can’t call the function openConfig() because are in .js and i don’t know how to call for open this nui from menu F6…

This runs at over 0.40 ms. Did someone optimize it? Or maybe @Dexterin0 will you optimize it?

I installed the taximeter and it runs without errors but no taximeter ui appears with ctrl-g. My friend got it to momentarily work but even she can’t re-get it to work.
