This is great! 
Although I would like it even more if it had the option to place the keys with metadata, so that when you have the item with that metadata, you can open the door, thus avoiding creating too many items and adding too many images to our inventory.
Suggestion:
I think it would be a really cool feature to have doors that can be opened using a particular item, which is consumed upon unlocking the door.
