Between capture and capture there is a delay. As soon as you capture, you canât do it again until a minute has passed (Config.timeBetweenPoints). From that minute on, if the zone is conquerable you can return to conquer another point. Upon reaching 3 it becomes your zone and anyone except your own job can conquer it.
All this can be easily modified either with the config file or by making small adjustments on the code. If what you want is to recapture the same area with the same job, I think the hint I gave you above is on the right track. All the best!
Ok I unterstand what you mean but when i capture the point and the point is conquerable I cant capture it with a another job it says you have to wait to capture points even if its conquerable and I tried it with another char and job too and that should work right? But it doesnt
This message pops up when the zone is still marked with a recent capture (pointRecent = true, on client.lua line 111).
The problem may come from the fact that the server loop is not able to set this variable to false and send it to the client when the specified time has elapsed (Config.timeBetweenPoints). It may have to do with your server using os.time() as seconds and not milliseconds. If the area was really conquerable and this point had updated well you should be able to conquer.
Hello! Itâs a gang war for territory. It is intended for gangs because it is restricted by jobs but it could be among others. A gang cannot know which gang has conquered a territory, it can only know that it is conquered.
I have this modified to start capture only if player is drifting and its awesome , was wondering how hard would it be to replace zones with polyzone and if its possible to have a clain territory trigger to put inside other jobs like races to claim zone if player won the race on that territory like nfs carbon , anyways cheers
