What is the issue you’re having?
When I initially installed FiveM, I could open the game and view/join certain servers. There was a specific server I wanted to join but the error “FiveM needs to restart” and "The server you are joining requires a different game version (2372). The game will close and restart to change to this version and connect:. I then went through various videos trying to update my game and it wouldn’t work. I eventually uninstalled FiveM as a whole and thought to reinstall it to see if it would update. I then ran into an issue where every time I open FiveM it starts to update and load but then freezes and says:
“Downloading update.rpf failed with CURLcode 56 - OpenSSL SSL_read: error:1408F119:SSL routines:ssl3_get_record:decryption failed or bad record mac, errno 0”
What are you trying to do?
Open FiveM to join any server and play GTA RP
What have you tried already to fix the issue?
I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled, tried downloading and replacing several files, and giving permission for FiveM to bypass my antivirus firewall.
Error screenshot (if any):
What did you do to get this issue?
I already couldn’t join certain servers because my game version was apparently not the latest but now I can’t open FiveM at all and I think it’s because of the way I deleted the files.
What server did you get this issue on? Be specific and name some, ‘all of them’ by itself isn’t useful!
The server is Hypix
