Like the title says. Why is this even an issue…

Open steam in the background then start FiveM

The server has made it so steam is required…

The server does connect your SteamID to their database. allowing to use their database to save your playerposition and maybe armoury. Its all needed.

That wasn’t the issue. Obviously I tried it with Steam running. I’m not an idiot.

I don’t know what happened, but I tried it again the next day and it did some update thing and then worked for the most part.

Now I’m having to delete the cache every time I start it otherwise servers don’t show up.
