error not allowed for this game type

What is the issue you’re having?

When I try to start RedM for 1st time, i get an “Authentication error” “Not allowed for this game type” and its exits the game

What have you tried already to fix the issue?

  • Data verification for rockstar social club and rdr2
  • Uninstall and new installation of redm
  • deleting cache of social club and redm
  • setting social club and rdr2 to run as admin
    • same for redm but that was blocked by system
  • PC restart
    • along with the various combinations of starting redm and rdr2 with multiple PC restarts
  • Starting the RDR2 game in multiplayer to see if it is any issue on my end

Maybe few more logical things that I did not write, but I think that this is the majority of tests that I have run.
