What is the issue you’re having?

Friends of the sun,

I’ve been sitting on this fix for about 3 hours now and my brain is slowly melting.

I got a new graphics card (RTX 5070). Before that I had an AMD RX 9070, but that one broke, so I used a GTX 1070 as a replacement. Everything worked fine until then. Today I used DDU to remove everything and installed the new GPU — and now the problem started:

As soon as I’m in-game (IC), I can walk around for about 10 seconds up to 3 minutes, and then my game crashes with this error code.

RDR2 Story Mode works perfectly fine :slightly_smiling_face:

At this point I’m running out of ideas.

What have you tried already to fix the issue?

Added -ignorepipelinecache to startup (Rockstar Launcher + RedM)
Installed older GPU drivers / reinstalled drivers + Windows updates
Tried different RedM versions (unstable; before that I was on beta since release doesn’t work for me)
Disabled shader cache in NVIDIA Control Panel
Used DDU again to completely reinstall drivers
Deleted SGA files (but not the .bin files)
Changed API from Vulkan to DX12 in Documents/RDR2/settings/system.xml
Lowered graphics settings
No manual overclock (card is factory OC only)
Reinstalled RedM + RDR2 (including deleting cache beforehand)

try video driver 572.83 STUDIO driver and see if that works it worked for me when i was having issues with my 5 series 5070 TI. make sure to do custom and remove the previous driver as well

it’s a 5000 series GPU issue with Redm. All you have to do is go in game settings and set the Parallax Occlusion Mapping Quality to LOW and save.
