[ELS] [Server Side] How to fix Dim ELS Lighting!

Hello everyone! There has been a lot of Confusing Videos and Topics out there on how to Fix the ELS Dim Lighting. After hours, me and my Server Dev Team have discovered the fix and disappointed that no one is raising this issue!

Anyway, I took the time to show how to fix this problem! :slight_smile:

If you can’t watch the video or just after something to Read, follow these steps below!

  1. Download https://github.com/Jarrrk/FiveM-VisualSettings by Jarrrk as a ZIP Folder.
  2. Open the Zip and Extract the Folder on your Desktop
  3. Rename the Folder to “VisualSettings”
  4. Place the Folder into your Resource Folder
  5. Add “start VisualSettings” to your server config.
  6. Restart your Server, to ensure it loads correctly
  7. Get into your ELS Vehicle and check out your Brighter Lights! :smiley:

Note: You may have to mess with the Values in the VisualSettings.dat file, cause they nearly blinded me the first time loading it. :laughing:

Does this work with non-els cars too?

If I am understanding how the Script works, the VisualSettings.dat file overrides your Client VisualSettings.dat file. Which the lighting for the Cars and other Lighting uses.

So I am going to say an (unconfirmed) yes.

I’ll give it a try, cause about a month ago i was trying to do exactly that and it wouldn’t do anything for the server accept make the lights like yellow and baby blue

Are you using the FiveM-ELS Script? If not, I’d grab it here:

Cause I know certain ELS scripts where converted to work, but weren’t designed to do so. This one however works a charm!
