Early-exit trap and adhesive.dll+E93D01

What is the issue you’re having?

When turning on Fivem, it throws the errors shown in the screenshot below.
I played over 100 hours on one single server, everything was working fine, and today out of nowhere I can’t turn on Fivem.

It happened first time yesterday, but i just restarted PC and it was working, but now nothing helping me.

What have you tried already to fix the issue?

Tried to delete Fivem caches, GTA 5 caches. I verified the integrity of GTA5. Reinstalled Rockstar Games Launcher and GTA5 too. Reinstalled Fivem, reinstalled graphics drivers. Tried to close discord when start Fivem. I ran a deep scan through Malwarebytes.

What server did you get this issue on?

Can´t even start Fivem.

yeah this is currently happening to me also it started for me yesterday when steam was down for a minute. i tried reinstalling fivem it didnt work then reinstalled gtaV it still didnt work updated my drivers, restarted my pc my last resort is updating to windows 11 are you in windows 11 and still do this?

update: fixed mine by going to steam settings > interface > Client Beta Participation and choosing No Beta Chosen then restart steam and open fivem and go to the settings at the top right then find game and switch to Beta mode and restart fivem

hope this help you guys

credits to Armyman0613 he found this fix and i just saw it in another article

Actively having this usse. everyone says to go to the beta build and remove it. IM NOT USING THE BETA BUILD. THIS DOES AND MEANS NOTHING TO ME.

Don’t delete adhesive. It’s not a fix for anything and is required for you to play fivem

I cant get mine to open long enough to change setting in fivem

I cleared PC cache, and closed steam entirely, been booting out of Rockstars launcher with no issue.
I dont use steam beta. so I shouldnt have had this issue.

Assuming this applies. try this.

Exact same thing happening to me, Playing the game months everyday and all of a sudden yesterday it starts throwing crash errors at me, I didnt touch anything on either the game fivem or my pc

Agreed. I did whats mentioned above. ontop of that, closed steam entirely, and launched off my R* launcher. no issues so far

thanks

Actively having this issue in 2026. I have ghost spectre windows, i dont know if the issue is due to it, i have never had problems with this system.

I have windows 10, it is written in the article. And I do not have an active beta on steam, I tried to turn it on 10 times today but it always threw an error. Then I turned off steam and it worked, but I think it will be temporary again.

It works for me Now, I have to have Steam turned off. When I turn it on, it doesn’t work, I don’t have an active beta version.

Also wrong. The current issue is caused by steam being open due to a recent update on steams side. There is an active fix being pushed through right now.

Clearing cache does nothing for an early exit trap.

This error should now be solved on all FiveM update channels. No user action is required, it should just work :trade_mark: when FiveM downloads the update
