There is one problem. Some of animations can be used when abusing example out of prison cell or trough the door. Like clown3 if i remember right, you can straight “walk” trough the door and then press ragdoll.

I can implement a disable for those specific addons, but for most servers its better to just ban the people abusing it, since thats 100% FailRP.

Also if you have the knowledge you guys can code in a check to see if the person is in handcuffs/inmrpd and have emotes disabled. Wish i could do more to help but in these specific cases its better to just ban the people abusing it.

I’ll look into it and see if i can make sure the ones that move the player a lot dont.

trundles-roleplay-animations

This one includes significantly more animations than Trundles. Additionally, after spending some time going through the two, and trying to put some of these animations into Trundles to get a comparison of what both are capable of, this one seems to bring sound to a number of animations that Trundles doesn’t: for example, if you do the “knock2” animation here, you actually hear door knocking sounds as the animation plays (I put the animation into Trundles to see if it was a fluke or just associated with the animation itself, but in when it’s in that script, no sound plays, and the lower half of your body doesn’t do the animation like it does here).

A couple of other differences I’ve found is that Trundles has a hotkey option for a few things like grabbing your shoulder mic, hovering your hand over your holster, etc. This one does not. Secondly, trundles has the option to spawn just a prop - such as “brief” or “brief2” where you get a briefcase to walk around with. This script isn’t set up to just spawn a prop without an animation associated. Additionally, this one also lets you set certain animations to loop, or just stop after it goes through the animation ones.

Overall, both have their individual pros and cons. Personally, I think I’ll be switching to this one given the extra amount of animations and the simply ability of adding the hotkey options - though I will miss the prop spawn things that Trundles has.

The script should support just the prop spawning, as in a recent commit i added /e suitcase.
While it still calls an emote the emote it uses only affects the hand so it could be used for other emotes for wearable props. Such as all the propemotes from other scripts.
I tried to layout and document the bottom half of the emote list as well as i could so other people could add their own things they wanted.

Im gonna look into adding the hotkeying, since i was going to do binds for emotes.
I didn’t realize that other servers use of for example the radio was set for just a keybind, figured it was built into the framework itself.

I hope you can help me with this. Im trying to add alot of the animations to a menu (krz_personalmenu) but i have no clue how to make it so it stays in a loop.

Do you know a way to do it?

That’s awesome! I was using the original version you released then - haven’t downloaded the new update with suitcase.

You wouldn’t happen to have a list of the props (with propbone numbers, etc)? There were a few that I wanted to add - for example, the eat or drink animations you have in the script - to add a burger or something to the player’s hand when they bring it up to their mouth. I’d be happy to share the lines once I get the placement coordinates right.

What a coincidence, im using nativeui to try to make a menu aswell, here is my attempt so far.
All the emotes show up right, but i cant get them to actually play.

Here’s a couple to add for now. Trying to get the “donut” one to work right. While it’s positioned in the guy’s hand properly, once he brings it to his face, the donut moves away - guess it’s a little shy.

Also, went with a soda can instead of the bottle of water - the bottle also did that move thing and screwed with the coordinates. Anyway, once I get some of these props set, I’ll go through the menu.

@mski8877 Fixed the issue with the donut, the bone is a little funky so replaced it with another one and some minor adjustment, and then for the soda i changed the prop to one of the npc props, i think the one you chose is a little big and only used for like interior stuff.

I’ll push these to the main branch soon.
