Your not wrong. A lot of people just disregard trademarked items. Best course of action is to change it from “Domino’s” to something non trademarked

The cars have special licenses when they buy the 3D models. which is clearly marked on the 3D websites. Using logos, copyrights and trademarks outside of buying the licensed 3D models from verified websites causes problems. We are converting all our assets to parody of those brands

Yea so ford obviously would be off limits but you could technically make it say mord or toured or something non trademarked you just can’t use the trademarked name if I understand correctly.

If you are not using their paid licensed models, and following the terms they set out on the models. Under Us Parody Laws, they allow public use of a logo or trademark if changed slightly for entertainment purposes. Obviously you couldn’t Take the ford logo and Make it “Mord” and directly compete with them. You are better off to find away to partner with them. Less hassles.

Companies do not care (unless they hate GTA) its basically free advertising for them.

Also I’d say its pretty obvious. RP servers want an immersive experience they can relate to. 90% of the time that involves real life brands and not just lore friendly.

Companies care more about their bottom line usually. GTA isn’t a major concern. Why spend thousands in legal fees trying to find someone who made a model online just to tell them to take it down when there are hundreds of copies of them usually too already out there in the game paid or free its like wack a mole. They don’t have time to pursue that or want to.

It would be different if Rockstar did it without licensing. But some random mapper who just loves the brand, and GTA? Doubtful.

I know this is unrelated, but if you wanted to, you could reskin a pizza box prop, and then in dpemotes, you can add this;

I hope you have a written permission from Dominos Pizza because of the trademark rights, otherwise this could be very expensive for you and for all who use this map on their server.
