Does FiveM have a policy against stealing from other communities

i have people from my server who went behind our backs and made a server then leached and stole members from our community and i was wondering if there was some Policy against it or something that can be done about their actions.

  1. Limit console access to people you trust (not ppl you need to trust)
  2. Build a community that ppl don’t want to leave
  3. Refer to items 1 and 2

The TOS states nothing about ‘stealing members’… If any of your personal scripts (that you made) were taken without permission, you can go the legal route (but that would be rather long and expensive).

Ultimately, nothing will be done about a community taking your members, and like @Dixxycup said, limit who has access to your server files.

Never give direct access to files, period. If you want, you can have your employees sign a NDA. Which if they do steal your source code, then you can sue them for breaking NDA

FiveM it self does not enforce this.

well only myself and the owner has access to the files i just wish there was something that could be done about leeching. thank you everyone for replies and i will speak with my staff and make sure this is taken care, thank you again.

If players are leaving, it isn’t because they are stealing them. People have the ability to make their own choices, including where they want to play. The problem isn’t them, it is you. Create a better environment that gives them reason to want to play on your server more than someone elses.

no im talking having proof of them sending them messages saying hey if you join our server ill make u staff and then post admin password and jail password on their discord and server

again, it is on you to provide a better situation than the other place… if they want to leave, for whatever reason it is because what they are offering, be it position, dollar dollars, or better cars or what have you, that is what they are offering. people don’t leave places they like to go to other places simply because they ask them. They are leaving and going to that other place because they have a motivation to do so… It is your job as a server dev to make a server that your community would stick with through thick and thin. When I left the first community I started to make a new one with friends, a large majority of the key members of that community immediately reached out and wanted info on the new community. It is because they like what we as a team stand for and the vision we have and are excited to see it happen while also recognizing that the place that we left was originally designed by this team… People go where they want, regardless of if they are sending out invites or not. Players are loyal to what they like… Make what they like and they will stick with you.
