Essentially both I guess. It whitelists the vehicle depending on the role, but restricts it to everyone who does NOT have the role. Lol sorry for the confusion.

I have the role and I set everything up to what I think is right. It is still saying that I dont have the permission to spawn in the car

You did not provide enough information to get the help you request… Maybe provide the whole configuration with all the vehicles listed as well as the vehicle you were trying to drive and what role you have…

Discord roles for permissions (im creative, i know)

THIS IS NO LONGER MAINTAINED. IF YOU WANT A MORE RELIABLE SYSTEM, USE MY NEW SOLUTION, Discordroles - a proper attempt this time. This is a pretty simple resource to use, and it basically allows you to use discord roles as a means of “Authentication” for certain permissions. In the config.lua, make sure to have a Discords bot token present (MAKE SURE NOT TO PREFIX IT WITH Bot AS IT AUTOMATICALLY DOES THIS FOR YOU), and also the guild id of where you want the roles to be checked. I take it this script cannot work against a player with multiple roles.

For example everyone in our discord is granted the civilian role. BCSO get the BCSO role and our BCSO vehicles are restricted to everyone but BCSO. The script seems to detect they have the Civilian role and doesnt allow the cops to spawn it in.

So a user has role 1 and 5 but because the vehicle is restricted to role 1 it blocks it.

@OfficialBadger Im struggling to understand this script, so when i put a car into the civ group. Does that mean the car is allowed or not allowed for civs. and if someone has roles for more than one of the groups, are they assigned to all of them or just the highest one?

When I spawn a car it says its restricted even though I have the role that should be able to spawn the vehicle but I have 3 other roles inside the script that all have different cars assigned and they all do the same and I know my API is setup properly. Can someone tell me how to fix this problem
