[Discontinued]Clear Cache on server boot

Hello everyone and this is a simple bat file to clear the cache when you use the run.bat it basicly deletes the files inside the cache folder everytime you boot up and when you click it, it ends the current server running if you have one!

hope you guys enjoy this

[legacy] Download: run.bat (189 Bytes)

i used this forum to recreate this [Release] Modified Run.bat (useful for server testing)

[FX]Download: run.bat (103 Bytes)

credits:
@nothanks for the basic bat file commands

There’s no need to make one for FX, as it automatically updates the cache AFAIK.

You do know that not everyone stores their server on their desktop, nor is their computer name “Rhys19”. If you want to make something like so that it clears the cache, then make it so that people don’t have to change the code of it

P.S. This is not for FX either, CFX is depreciated!

will try and make it like so you dont have to change the code

i had never knew that either so then people that still use cfx can use this as its not quite complete yet

run.bat (103 Bytes)

Here’s one that works for FXServer, throw it into your server directory ( same directory as your server.cfg should be ) and it should do all by itself after being started.

do you have to edit the code to put your directory or does it search it on its own?

you run it from the server directory where the cache is stored.

ok i put your run.bat file in the forum so you can just download it and its labled fx for fx server and legacy for cfx server

Clearing the cache folder on FXServer will cause people to get the ‘Couldn’t load resource sessionmanager’ error, which can be resolved by not deleting the cache, as it auto-updates itself when files have been updated in resources.

I have the same worries

don’t use it then i will just mark it discontinued

i also dont think its usefull for cfx anymore because i heard from someone that fivem will be blacklisting all cfx servers (today) not for sure but idk

So how do you fix this if you deleted the cache?

In server console, type restart sessionmanager

Now, locking since this is dead and old.
