General Duties Troopers attached to Vespucci Police observed a stolen quad bike travelling southerly on Bay City Ave, Vespucci.

Police initiated a stop and the rider was later arrested and charged for Taking Conveyance of a Motor Vehicle without Consent.

A critical incident investigation is underway after a fatal shooting in Vinewood yesterday afternoon!

Approximately 22:30 hours Zulu standard time Sunday the 18th of October 2020, police received numerous calls regarding a person armed with a firearm at a popular Nightclub in Vinewood on Eclipse Blvd, West Vinewood.

Troopers attached to Vinewood Police Area Command and Rockford Hills Police Area Command responded and were met with immediate gunfire from a semi-automatic firearm from inside the licensed premises.

Troopers made entry into the premises and rendered assistance to two patrons before being treated by ambulance paramedics outside of the property. Both later pronounced dead.

At 22:30 hours Zulu standard time specialist police resources from the State Protection Group and Counter Terrorism Command arrived. At approximately 23:30 hours Zulu standard Troopers from the Strategic Response Unit and Police Dog Service made entry into the premises in an attempt to take the gunman into custody. During the exchange the gunman killed his hostage.

A critical incident investigation team comprising Troopers from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad and Professional Standards Command will investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

As inquiries into the incident continue, police are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.

Approximately 2226 hours Zulu standard time (Sunday the 18th of October 2020) Troopers from the Traffic and Highway Patrol received reports of a dangerous driver on Vinewood blvd, Vinewood.

Approximately 2230 hours Zulu standard Highway Patrol Troopers observed the vehicle travelling in a westerly direction on Vinewood Blvd, Vinewood, nearly striking into a group of pedestrians at the intersection of Las Lagunas Blvd and a subsequent stop was initiated.

Troopers commenced inquires with the 23-year-old driver when he assaulted a police officer and bystander before being restrained. A roadside breath test was administered and he returned a result of .17 PCA (prescribed alcohol concentration).

He was charged with Resist Hinder Police in Execution of Duty, Dangerous Driving, Mid Range PCA, Common Assault, Take Conveyance of Motor Vehicle or Vessel without Consent of Owner and Steal Motor Vehicle or Vessel.

Approximately 0200 hours Zulu standard (Wednesday the 21st of April 2020) Troopers from Palomino Police Area Command and Zancudo Police Area Command responded to a silent alarm at a business on San Andreas Route 68, Harmony.

Troopers with assistance from specialist police from the Strategic Response Unit and Police Dog Services arrived on scene and made a perimeter around the property, however, the vehicle had already fled the scene.

Specialist forensic police are now examine the scene.

Critical Incident

A critical incident investigation has been launched after a woman was injured in South Davis

Troopers were called to a South Davis home after 0500 hours Zulu standard (Friday the 23rd of October 2020) after concerns were raised about a man inside, who was armed with a knife.

Specialist police from the Strategic Response Unit tried to speak with the 40-year-old before a tactical element forced their way inside at about 0720 hours Zulu, more than three hours after the siege began.

Specialist Troopers say the man threatened them with a “large bladed instrument”, forcing them to shoot him with a Conducted Electronic Weapon (CEW - Taser) and to deploy “other tactical options”.

The conducted electronic weapon (Taser) didn’t work, Specialist Troopers were forced to shoot the man.

Paramedics treated him at the scene before rushing him, to hospital, where he died a short time later.

A Critical Incident Investigation Team will now look into the incident and all information will be subject to independent review before being provided to the Coroner.

A critical incident investigation has been launched following the shooting of an armed offender in Vinewood earlier tonight.

Approximately 1245 hours Zulu standard (Sunday the 1st of November 2020) Troopers from Vinewood Police Area Command received reports of an abandoned white limousine disrupting westbound lanes on Vinewood Blvd, Vinewood. Troopers attended and commenced inquires.

During preliminary inquiries Troopers observed a suspicious male wearing dark coloured clothing in custody of a large knife Troopers attempted to make contact with the individual before he fled the scene and a pursuit was initiated. A subsequent search of the immediate area revealed nothing to the male’s identify.

A short time later a second suspicious male approached police at the abandoned vehicle where he produced a firearm and threaten police. Additional Troopers responded where the 27-year-old Sandy Shores man was shot by police and pronounced dead by Paramedics.

A critical incident investigation team comprising Troopers from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad and Professional Standards Command will investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A critical incident investigation has been launched following the death of a man in Vinewood today following a police pursuit.

Approximately 0200 hours Zulu standard time (Sunday the 1st of November 2020), a 24-year-old Vinewood man accompanied by a friend failed to yield for police initiating a pursuit.

0225 hours Zulu standard Troopers terminated the pursuit with the 24-year-old male and relocated him with the assistance of the Police Airwing.

About 0230 hours Zulu standard Troopers from the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command assisted by PolAir and Vinewood Police Area Command located the individual on commercial rooftop in Vinewood Blvd, Vinewood. Troopers attempted to restrain the male when during the altercation he had fallen of the roof.

That investigation will be overseen by the Professional Standards Command.

Homicide Squad detectives have arrested a Vinewood man after a domestic dispute earlier this morning.

Approximately 0230 hours (Sunday the 1st of November 2020) police responded to reports of a domestic disturbance at a private dwelling in Vinewood Hills.

Troopers attached to Vinewood Police Area Command attended and commenced inquiries. During their inquiries they located the body of a 48-year-old women inside the private dwelling. She suffered a knife wound to the head.

A crime scene was established at the property and examined by specialist forensic officers.

The State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the women’s death.

The women’s husband was taken to Vinewood Police Area, where charges we laid.

As inquiries into the incident continue, police are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.
