So without further ado, here is a full set of the Whelen Avenger interior lights the we made for you guys! (Credits given to the original model dev below) We have intentions on releasing a lot more similar content so please be patient for we are working on multiple projects at once.

How to install:
You Can Add each lightbar to your server.cfg if your prefer, recommed the layout below.

Drag and Drop β€œ[WhelenAvengerDualBar]” + β€œ[WhelenAvengerSingleBar]” into your servers resources
or where you prefer.

Then add the start/ensure commands to your server.cfg like so,

What does a vehicle need to be β€œmodeled properly” for the emissives to show through the windows?

The purpose of disclosing the information in the post is to sum up errors people may be having when installing lights on the vehicles

That β€œbug” isn’t caused by a modeling issue on the interior of the vehicle. The reason parts of the the added lights/emis isn’t visible through the vehicle’s glass is because the model and emissive materials need to be a higher priority than the glass material in the vehicle’s material order, which can only be configured in the .z3d of the vehicle.

I removed it from the topic. I’m aware of how vehicles are supposed to be structured. From my knowledge this will not work in this scenario since these are modeled separately from the vehicle. I have made cars with a modified interior similar to the one in the video and the lights work perfectly fine anywhere inside of the vehicle and yes it has windows with collisions.

I used this model specifically and released it for free because [0taku] does not allow Commercialization of this model.

Yes, you can obtain the z3d version for free from LSPDFR as well but I reworked the model to specifically work with third party attachment scripts. It’s not being released as a model for vehicle development.

I am using free models on purpose so the community can try something new without having to pay… Doesn’t make since to not test it out with free models before spending money on commercialization rights and paid designs.

Its literally Whelen Avengers from lspdfr go ahead charge people for a FREE model, Also ofc he doesn’t allow Commercialization of it BECAUSE ITS A FREE MODEL YOU CAN GET LIKE WHAT??? LOL

If you have ever used z3d before then you would know you can’t just download a dev resource and export it and then it all of a sudden it works especially when making lightbars.

Siren tool really… Siren tool doesn’t do anything as far as making the lights… Siren tool is only used for people who don’t understand binary code or carcols to give visual reference on creating the pattern sequence.

I don’t use siren tool because I don’t need a picture book to write out binary code or to make carcols. I’m from the OG era where we didn’t have tools. We had code.

in zmod you get a base model, you MERGE a lightbar/dev part, you position it set up LOs and Emis for lights. You exxport it twice, one without _hi and one with _hi. you go to siren tool you map/create how some sirens will flash and then you export that either with carcols (20 sirens) or with the sequence (32 sirens)
