A year ago, I used to play RP on FiveM. I stopped overnight, and today I wanted to get back into it, but I’m running into a crash like this one when trying to join the game. I’m at a loss.

I found a solution, though I’m not sure if it will work for you. Close all open programs (GOG, EA, etc., except for essentials like Discord). Then, perform the following steps: press Win + R and type temp, %temp%, and prefetch (one at a time). Delete as many files as possible from these folders; most are temporary files, but be careful, as some are used by the Windows system. Once that’s done, restart FiveM and join your server; the problem should be resolved. It worked for me, and I hope it works for you too.
