Could not load dependent module NvLowLatencyVk.dll

Hi.
I’ve got a problem, and I don’t have no more ideas how to solve that. My friend, when she want to enter the server after update has error which is saying: “could not load dependent module NvLowLatencyVk.dll Error code 126”. Red Dead is on the Steam. Legal of course. We’ve tried everything. Replacing files from other people, reinstaling whole RedM and Red Dead. We have done all updates of windows and other. Catche are also deleted, but the problem is still with us. Anyone has any ideas what we can do now, or why do we have this error? Pls help. Thank You :slight_smile:

@Kamillo90

I had exactly the same problem, everything you described was the same as me. Unbelievably frustrating, because this is the only other mention of this issue on the entire internet.
Fortunately, after a couple of day, I solved the problem.

The Redm client didn’t pull that specific .dll file from the RDR2 folder into its own.

Simply go into your “steamapps>common>Red Dead Redemption 2” folder, copy NVLowLatencyVK.dll and paste it into your RedM Application Data folder (the icon should be a snail). I tried launching RedM after that, and it came up with the same error, but for a different file. Copy and paste THAT file as well, then any others it may ask for. You should have it all fixed!

ps. the other files I needed to copy&paste were

  • “ffx_fsr2_api_dx12_x64.dll”
  • “ffx_fsr2_api_vk_x64.dll”
  • “ffx_fsr2_api_x64.dll”

Good luck bro.
