so go download a drift handling off gta5mods, there’s really no specifics related to drift servers using different handlings because it’s drifting in general.
why the fuck do you think most support topics don’t get any help? oh yeah it’s because everyone’s like you:
@nta I’m not entirely sure yet, but this last update seemed to have broken FiveM controller Exclusive Mode for a lot of people, I used to be able to use the controller while the game Window wasn’t active (playing while typing on discord) and thats entirely gone now.
It seems like GTA does a better job at handling controllers with XINPUT than with the UWP API thats it forced now (I’m not tech savy so I might be saying bs here)
My issue is with a DualShock 4 using input mapper 1.6.10, so the game is seeing a 360 controller basically since I’m emulating one.
I think people are reporting weird haptic feedback on the XB1 controller here now because the game has 360 controller support which doesn’t have trigger rumble and now with the new API it somehow makes the triggers rumble.
It would be very helpful if in_useWindowsGamingInput could be toggled again since W10 implementation of game controllers is kinda bad when it comes to Exclusive Mode operation and tweaking in general
@nta
But how are we suppose to find the handling.meta if most of the files we as clients download from servers are masked and hidden from us. That makes it for us almost impossible to get the required data. (I would have given the information but I don’t have a clue where to find it so it is impossible for me to provide it)
Like sure, the people aren’t being really nice but there is also no clues/hints towards us about how we could even find those files from those servers to begin with.
Anyway, I am using an Xbox one controller and I have tested it in different games like Rocket League and the vibration in the other games are just fine. Even before the update came, the vibration was fine as well but something happened after the update
I just checked the Xbox accessories app and I could only enable or disable the entire vibration mechanic of the controller so it looks like I can’t disable the vibrators near the triggers at all
just here to thank the developers who forced this change on us, even disabled the code line we had to disable trigger rumbling, i’ve had to perform a vasectomy on my xb1 controller to remove this so i can play without being constantly irritated
because i read the response to the input command false being disabled and felt this was another case of third party software for frame limiting being disabled, or us all being forced to have extra single player props that we cant opt out of, and felt this isnt going away because its been decided its good for us
hardly destroyed, and i dont know what the hell to do with that, and neither do most of our xb1 controller users who want trigger rumbles off completely
ah yes, two things that never even happened leading to you physically removing the actuator from your controller as you… also don’t seem to like any trigger haptics at all? the hell are you on about? why did you even buy an xbox one controller if you don’t want trigger haptics? you know you can just disable all haptics, right?
they most certainly did happen, we cant use stuff like rivatuner, and i had to retroactively and proactively remove around 400 extra dumb fire hydrants, signs, newspaper boxes etc from out 300ish maps, all manually! i dont want to disable all haptics i just want to disable the ones in the trigger that were not there up until yesterday, which we had a fix for but has since been disabled by the devs for god knows what reason, so i took the last measure in removing trigger rumbles
how is that our issue? that seems more like a compatibility issue on their side, also like all GPU drivers have included frame limiting for years - at least AMD has
the fuck are you on about here? those were added by R*, they have also always been present in FiveM and have nothing to do with single player at all?
“i don’t like change and i make up things that never happened too as reasons to not like change”, what?
are you sure you don’t have some undiagnosed mental illness?
not a fix. it was meant for cases where input would entirely break, that never happened, so the toggle got removed.
sounds like people who cut off their own ear as they’re hearing voices
