The MDT has a lot of really nice features and a great looking design over all.
And hell Iād almost say itās one of the best out there atm.
HOWEVER, while itās nice looking and has a lot of nice features itās lacking hard in the normal base MDT usability imo. Iāll write a list of pros and cons that I find with it, starting with pros:
- Really nice look to it
- Able to pin cases to the main page of the MDT for easy access for longer cases.
- Build in chat features for general chatter as well as private messages where you can send cases, pictures and other things which is really nice.
- Easy layout for higher ups to use for management
- Really nice looking evidence page and integrated evidence lockers that show items in the cases locker on the page
- Easy UI to make and manage charges
- Area for officers to use to keep track of places around the map such as crime hotspots, labs, gang hideouts and so on
- A nice UI to keep track of certs
- Radio codes has a dedicated place in the MDT where higher ups can change it directly there or devs can do it in code, same for uniforms that even has a little pop up you can use for when getting into uniform
Cons:
- You canāt make charges that has no time on the charge.
- You canāt easily search for citizens/cars to add to a case from the case UI, you have to go into the database part and find them there, then copy the ID/plate and then go back into the case which just seem intuitive.
- The dispatch map is annoying to use with how much shadow it has coming over it from the UI.
- When you go to add a case tag thereās no partial search for it, leading many a times to an invalid tag because of a fat finger.
- Thereās no normal license category, they call em warrants instead for some reason and is generally intuitive imo(Can change the locales to name it properly) and thereās no easy way to implement whichever license system you might use.
- For some reason thereās no place to write a narriative about a case, youād instead have to deal with a small collumn on the side where thereās no text formatting, no editing and every single thing thatāll be written is in just a long list on the side, this being the thing that I find the least intuitive and most frustrating with the MDT when thereās clearly space for this as the middle section is just general information taking up way more space than it has to.
- Canāt name pictures added to evidence.
- God awful popup every X minutes(depends on what you set it to in config) that takes up quite a lot of space saying āchat has been clearedā with no way to just turn it off
Over all I love the idea they have with it and most of the stuff they do, but to me the cons of it are just sadly annoying enough to the point of me not suggesting it to other for use.
However, if the cons Iāve written are not much of an issue for you Iād for sure say you should go for it with this MDT as Iām sure youāll love the other features it has

Very nice and clean, do you plan to add where you can search partial names or plates.
Also, are you able to restrict reports to certain individuals, for example if a investigative officer such as a detective wanted to restrict a case file so only certain people could see/access it, is that an option?

I cant second this enough. So much focus on looking cool and itās barely usable to do rp police work. Missing all of the functionality of even ps mdt or almost every other mdt in existence to date. The lack of a report writing system for proper reports makes this a waste in itself.
I donāt understand all the obsessive praise in the posts here. This thing looks cool but is useless for an rp server, really unfortunate that it turned out to be like this.

There are no reports. Zero text editor functionality. Just a really annoying to use notes side panel thatās useless for report writing in these cases.

Poor support and response. Documentation lacking. I suggest looking elsewhere until they can get this script together properly.

Read this before you buy TLDR: it lacks BASIC police RP functionality. ADD an Incident tab like every other MDT and ill change my review.
I bought this MDT which was my first time ever buying ANY resource because it looked amazing. Like others said Itās lacking simple incident function to send people off to jail like normal MDTs. I canāt just write a report, add the charges and send them off. I really wish I read the comments before I wasted $40 on this. IDK How to get a refund or if I can but Iām so pissed off right now. I looked into a lot of MDTs before this one and I was sure it had everything I wanted. PS-MDT has more functions than thisā¦ it just looks like crap.
