What is the issue you’re having?
Since yesterday I have been getting “Client → server connection timed out” on every FiveM server.
The disconnect happens after about 1-5 minutes of gameplay.
FiveM worked perfectly from June 6 until yesterday.
There are no crashes, GPU errors or Windows errors. The game simply loses connection with the server.
The issue happens on every server I have tested.
What have you tried already to fix the issue?
- Reinstalled FiveM
- Verified GTA V files in Steam
- Updated MediaTek MT7922 Wi-Fi driver
- Rolled back AMD GPU driver
- Reset Winsock and TCP/IP
- Flushed DNS
- Reset Windows Firewall
- Disabled Windows Defender for testing
- Created a new Windows user account
- Tested using my phone hotspot (same issue)
- Stable ping during disconnects (no packet loss)
- Restarted PC multiple times
What server did you get this issue on?
Every server I tested (including multiple public servers) for example OsloRP, ShootGG

Additional comments
The issue started suddenly yesterday.
FiveM had been working perfectly for almost a month before that.
The problem occurs on every server after approximately 1-5 minutes.
A continuous ping to 1.1.1.1 remains stable while FiveM disconnects.
I have already tried multiple troubleshooting steps without success.
The issue also occurs when using my mobile hotspot instead of my home Wi-Fi.
FiveM does not crash or freeze. It only disconnects with the “Client → server connection timed out” error.
