Changing in-game name

Hello,

I’ve seen topics around that talk about changing your in-game name through the Steam overlay - for those of us who do not want to have roleplay names on our Steam account is there a way to go about changing your username which doesn’t have any effect on your Steam name.

I believe FiveM still grabs your username from your computer name, at least it has previously.

Hmmm - currently mine is my Steam Username and it also has the avatar I used on my Steam account.

It uses your steam name if you are logged into steam. Otherwise it will use your windows user name. You can only change your name in the client with the gear at the top right if steam is not being used.
