Does anyone know how I can change the brightness of the headlights? I’ve currently got Naturalvision running on FiveM and editing the visualsettings.dat in the z_NVR_Base.rpf file that came with the mod just throws an encryption error. Any way to get around that error? Changing visualsettings.dat in GTA V’s Mods folder does nothing, neither does placing a visualsettings.dat in “FiveM.app\citizen\common\data”
If your the owner/system administrator of the server you can change thecarcols.meta file. If not ask the server owner. If you want to do this client side, you can put a carcols.ymt in you citizen folder i believe. I think your graphics mod already comes with one, put it into openIV or one it with a text editor to edit it!

Thank you for guiding me in the right direction, is there a possibility of changing the global headlight intensity or will I be limited to editing each addon?
in the gtav native carcols it has all the light setting (this can be found in openiv) if you are streaming all your cars in one Folder than yes you could
