When I try to log in with my passkey on the forum, I get the following message: “It looks like you’re connecting from a new device or location. To keep your account secure, you need to log in via email. Check the email address associated with your account for a link to log in.” I then have to click the link I received by email and approve the login. This is a bit of a hurdle, but for security reasons that’s fine. However, if I log out and try to log in again to check whether it really is a new device or location, I have to go through all the same steps again. This makes having a passkey for faster login somewhat pointless.
I think that the new device login should only happen once per location or device.
