Carcols & carvariations not working

Hello, I am getting the classic broken carcols on a couple of my vehicles and changing the IDs does not work, I have tried almost 20 times now but to no avail, any ideas?

What’s broken exactly?

The lights just do not function at all, and when I change the carcols.meta and the carvariations.meta the only thing that changes is the lights bugging out, I will attach an image below as an example
