Can't Validate Game Ownership

What is the issue you’re having?

I keep running into an error when trying to launch RedM that says “could not validate game ownership” and also says “ensure the launcher used in purchasing Red Dead Redemption is open prior to starting RedM. If you are running this as an administrator, please launch it as regular user.” I want to clarify that I am launching the game through Steam and Steam is open when I try to run RedM. RedM is not set to run as administrator either. The main problem happens when RedM starts to load the Rockstar Games Launcher. I can sign into the Rockstar Launcher normally and I even have auto sign in turned on, but once RedM triggers the launcher to open, the launcher begins to load, then immediately closes itself. After this, RedM gives the ownership error again and the Rockstar Launcher signs me out every time. FiveM works with no issues at all, and I can launch Red Dead Redemption 2 single player and the base game perfectly fine. This issue only happens with RedM. I would also like to mention that i’ve been able to use RedM with no issues for four days before having this issue.

What have you tried already to fix the issue?

I have already tried validating my files, uninstalling and reinstalling RedM, uninstalling and reinstalling the Rockstar Games Launcher, and uninstalling and reinstalling Red Dead Redemption 2. Nothing has worked so far and I am completely out of ideas at this point.
