Can't trigger client event from server-based command

So i have a little problem…

I’m not able to trigger client event from server-based command

Client

RegisterNetEvent('paski') -- register that this is a valid event
AddEventHandler('paski', function()
	Notification('test') -- displays notification, works everywhere else
end)

Server

RegisterCommand('pasy', function(source)
    TriggerClientEvent('paski', source)  
end)

What am i doing wrong?

Try this on the server side

Notification function is this function (which i’ve found around this forums) - it works in other commands in client.lua

function Notification(msg)
	SetNotificationTextEntry("STRING")
	AddTextComponentString(msg)
	DrawNotification(0,1)
end

This is in the same resource as you’re using the RegisterCommand() in right?

Hmm this doesn’t add up, because you’re using it correctly but for some reason it’s not working. Perhaps you’re not defining the file in the resource manifest?

My __resource.lua looks like this

server_script "server.lua"

main.lua

function Notification(msg)
	SetNotificationTextEntry("STRING")
	AddTextComponentString(msg)
	DrawNotification(0,1)
end

(some other code goes here - it works well)

I’ve done refresh, restarted whole resource but event still isn’t triggered

So I’m guessing that there is some sort of error within your resource that is stopping the code. Try restarting your resource and see if there are any errors in the F8 console or your server console.

It seems that after restarting whole server it started to work.
