Can't run fivem under vs debugger after successful build from source

As in the title i successfully built fivem from source. Now i’m trying to debug the code. However the game does not work when running with a debugger attached. What happens is the following:
-I launch the game from visual studio with CitiLaunch set as startup project.
-The game launches and gets into the main menu.
-Visual studio displays the following screen:

Which is weird since i have no breakpoints set.
-After hitting continue it displays this:

That’s as far as it gets.
How can I get around this?

After doing some research i determined that it is most likely GTA causing troubles with the debugger, and not fivem. Does somebody here have any experience bypassing gta’s anti debugger methods, and if so, could they point me in the right direction?
