cannot update local game data?

GTA V version: Latest Epic Games version as of 4/22/2022
Up to date: Yes, just downloaded today
Legit or Pirate copy: Full legal, got it wayy back when epic had the game for free
Purchased where - Steam/Rockstar Launcher/Epic: Epic
Windows version: 11
Did you try to delete content_index.xml and try again? No idk where that is, but i have tried deleting and reinstalling the .exe file. (its only file on the file explorer)

i just installed the client off the site and it did its stuff, i accepted every dialog pop upand boom, can do this one task

ive been trying to get into gta rp for the longest time and finally got the storage to do it. The 4tb hhd is a Seagate Game Drive for Xbox (model:SRD0NF1), but i have it setup for my laptop and works completely fine. it has wayy more then enough storage then fivem asks for so idk whats wrong.
