Can you give permissions to a friend to mod server?

so me and my best friend both paid for a server, the server is in his name. we are both new to this and we are learning, but he barely has any time, he wants to give me permission to mod server but we can’t figure out how to do that. can more than one person mod the server? if so how can I do so. we’re renting the server by zap
