Me again!

So, recently im seeing alot of car skin releases and just straight up crap… There is now that much the release section is FULL of the same crap and all the good resources are getting hidden and molestered by ESX, VRP & 220000 CIV CAR PACKS…

IS there anyway or anychance we could get sub categorys to split them up ie:

ESX Releases.
VRP Releases.
Car Skins & Car Packs.
Standalone.
and general releases that dont have a sub category?

Im sure alot of people would like this too… How about a poll?

Agreed, there’s been a lot of kids coming on the forums with their 10 minute PDN work.

The Releases category is already a sub-category so it would have to get moved into it’s own category. Having separate categories for each big framework somewhat makes sense, but, then this won’t change anything really, the releases channel on Discord already streams new topics in Releases and if people see something interesting they’ll press on it. The point I’m getting at here is that people aren’t going to stop using ESX/vRP, meaning that they will still be looking for these ESX/vRP resources so separating them into sub-categories is just going to be annoying and look messy. Plus, things is already bad as it is with creating topics in the invalid category, so this will just create even more topics placed invalidly.

yeah i get waht your saying there, But for all the users and people who want to do something different its hard for people to find what there looking for if there not using VRP or ESX, Even if the 2 just had there own release pages i feel that would suit many people and im sure it could then be done in a way that would be neat and tidy and not get messy

iirc, the elements already mentioned that this will not be a thing ever (sub-categories for specific resources or specific release types). Not sure what the exact details were but it’s mentioned somewhere on the forums already.

These were already discussed a few months ago when they first started appearing, mostly because a lot didn’t credit the author of the vehicles, get permission to post etc, but like Vespura said, elements stated that

Honestly ilas much as I want this to happen I dont see it happening. There are so many resources already released it would have to be completely reorganized and honestly would take a lot of time. I would be willing to help move topics etc but I dont believe the element will ever be interested in this idea. Its unfortunate I know but :man_shrugging: nothing anyone can do. No matter how many people vote yes here it is pretty pointless.
